We’ve been busy over the holidays working away at the school group tours booked for this year. New for 2014: EA is extremely excited to launch the EA – NASA Space Camp
Previously only available to US schools, EA and the NASA Kennedy Space Centre are now offering an intensive 3-5 day Space Camp to international school groups! This is a huge development for us and we are excited to offer a limited number of group spaces for schools to experience this behind the scenes look into the world of space. This is truly the trip of a lifetime!

What does the EA – NASA Space Camp involve?

Available only to school groups, the Kennedy Space Centre opens its doors so students have the opportunity to learn about NASA and the past, present and future of space exploration. With the launch of the 2014 EA – NASA Space Camp, our groups now have the chance to fully immerse themselves in Space Centre life – with your choice of a 3-5 day camp, students will take part in educational course components, hands-on activities, and be rewarded with a course graduation and certificate of achievement.

Here’s what you and your students could be in for:

• Participate in a simulated space shuttle mission
• Learn hands-on about the science of space travel
• Hear real life stories from space shuttle astronauts
• Get up close to the new space shuttle Atlantis
• Feel like an astronaut with training sessions including launch simulation - "Get Vertical"
• Gain inspiration and exhilaration at the Apollo Saturn V Centre - with dramatic multi-media shows and hands-on displays
• Lunch with a real astronaut and visit NASA’s IMAX theatre

• October 2014 - Space for 3 groups remain
• Christmas 2014 - Space for 2 groups remain
• February 2015 – Half term - Space for 2 groups remain
• April 2015 – Easter holidays - Space for 4-5 groups remain
• July 2015 - Space for 4-5 groups remain
