EA school tours newsletter AUG 2011

A wise man once told me about the 5 P’s - Proper Planning Prevents Pitiful Poor Performance, this is definitely the case when planning an international school trip. We generally recommend that teachers start planning 8-14 months before their trip.

Our team of travel consultants are experts at helping teachers through the necessary steps including trip promotion, student and parent correspondence, risk assessment and contingency planning.

Why should you start plan the 2012 trip now?

1. Exchange rates

For anyone outside of the USA these are favourable right now. UK schools are getting good deals for US trips and Australian Schools are getting great deals anywhere. We can hold package prices while you advertise. This is a great opportunity and no one knows where the exchange rates will go.

2. Fuel Prices

These are predicted to increase over time. This means all modes of transport will increase in price and packages prices will increase.

3. Flight availability

Airlines have cut back the number of flights on many routes. This has meant greater margins for the airlines as they are filling planes. For groups this means it is becoming more difficult to pre book space at good rates. Through planning early with teachers we are able to hold pre-release seats in order to achieve the best rates.

* Don’t forget that for all provisional bookings received before September teachers will receive a bonus gift pack which is guaranteed to help them relax and unwind in style!!
