Business & Politics USA Itinerary

DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY

DAY 2: WALL ST TOUR, STATUE OF LIBERTY AND ELLIS ISLAND

Take a tour of Wall Street and get the business and financial perspective. Your students will also take part in a trading game. In the afternoon you’ll be heading via ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to visit the Immigration Museum. This evening, if time permits, walk the highline to Chelsea Markets for dinner.

DAY 3: GUIDED TOUR OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE, ONE WORLD OBSERVATORY AND BASEBALL GAME

Enjoy a fascinating tour of the Federal Bank and the Gold Vault. This afternoon you’ll climb the One World Observatory to get the best views of New York from the highest building in America. Later, head to the baseball to watch the New York Yankees play. (Subject to scheduling). ​

Plug and Play and Tour of Silicon Valley

Plug and Play is the ultimate innovation platform, bringing together the best startups and the world’s largest corporations. Your visit will start with tour of Plug and Play for 45 min – 1 hr then you’ll go to the event room and have two selected portfolio startups pitch to you and share information about their startups and their experience. The total visit will be around 1.5 hours.

Civil Rights Tour of Harlem

Step back in time, and learn about a key period in Harlem’s history, when you embark on this walking tour of the neighbourhood. Meet your guide, a long-time Harlem resident, and set off. You’ll be following in the footsteps of former neighbourhood residents like Malcolm X and Adam Clayton Powell Jr., and will learn all about Harlem’s role in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 60s. Your guide will also share videos, photos and other multimedia pieces of history as you explore.

Guided Tour of the United Nations

Visit the United Nations in the heart of New York City! A one-hour guided tour offers an exciting opportunity to discover UN Headquarters. One of our multilingual Tour Guides will take you on a brief journey through the corridors of international diplomacy. You will learn about the history and work of the United Nations and visit the famous General Assembly Hall and Security Council Chamber (meetings permitting).
