Touring around the city ensures you’re able to see Old Tokyo and key sites of historical significance such as the Sensoji Temple. Gaze up at the famous Tokyo Skytree and appreciate the contrast between old and new architecture in this ever-changing metropolis.

Osaka hiking and castle

Osaka Castle (also known as Osakajo) is a famous Japanese landmark. Built-in 1583, this castle is steeped in Japanese history. The central tower of Osaka Castle is built on two raised platforms of landfill supported by sheer walls of cut rock, using a technique called Burdock piling, each overlooking a moat. The central castle building is five stories on the outside and eight stories on the inside and built atop a tall stone foundation to protect its occupants from attackers. You'll learn all about the history of this through beautiful Osaka.

Mount Fuji

Fuji-San is Japan’s tallest mountain and an active volcano. Considered sacred, this mountain is a pilgrimage site for many. It is popular for hiking and is well-known for its iconic shape - some consider it perfectly symmetrical. The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is a popular spot for viewing the magnificent mountain, At 2300 metres above sea level, you will have unobstructed views across the Fuji Five Lakes area. Don’t forget to check out the Komitake Shrine (The shrine worshipping a long-nosed goblin, Tengu) while you’re there.
