Trip activities

Spanish language learning

Learning a new language can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. A school trip to South America will help students master basic Spanish and provide opportunities to use their skills. Interacting with local host families and South American culture, students will be introduced to basic greetings and based on their own learning goals, have the opportunity to put their learning into a practical setting.

Iguazu Falls

The Iguazu Falls are an impressive South American landmark, originating from the Iguazu River and located on the border of Brazil and Argentina. The Iguazu Falls are what divides the river of the same name into its upper and lower portions, a fact that has given rise to several myths and legends as to their origin. This river forms the boundary between Brazil and Argentina, making it a significant part of the political and geographical structure of the continent of South America.

Santiago stop-over

Stopovers in Santiago de Chile, the sprawling capital city of Chile, will provide students with an opportunity to see some iconic local landmarks such as the early-19th-century Royal Court Palace, and visit the National History Museum, or the 18th-century Metropolitan Cathedral.
