What Can You Expect on a trip to Orlando

With EA, your students will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in Space Center life – with your choice of 1-5 day programs, students will take part in educational, hands-on activities, and explore all that Kennedy Space Center has to offer. Choose a program that best suits your students; from building rockets, engineering robotics or delving into real-life astronaut training. Other exciting Orlando activities include going backstage at a Universal theme park to learn the technology behind the rides, being blown away by physics at the I-Fly Orlando wind tunnel and taking an exhilarating airboat ride through the Florida Everglades.

View ten-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration, walk through a full-size space shuttle mock-up, see 3D-IMAX space films on gigantic five-story screens, and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display. Some recent additions to the Center now include the Space Shuttle Atlantis and The Hubble Telescope exhibit. Students also get a behind the scenes glimpse of Kennedy Space Centre on a NASA Bus Tour to the LC-39 Observation Gantry and the Apollo/Saturn V Center! The amazing exhibits and inspiring shows will immerse students into the science and history behind space exploration.

"Space Camp was a once in a lifetime experience for me, it isn’t every day that you can go to the US, meet an astronaut, control a rover on a mars surface and watch a rocket take off from Cape Canaveral. It was one of my highlights while here at WC and it was great to see how physics that we learn in the classroom translates to the rockets and the theme park rides. For anyone who is interested in space exploration or engineering, this trip would be a must do!"
